1. Private Consultation
We will discuss:
- The date of your event or trip and when your next period is due.
- Your medical history, any medicines you take, and any contraception you use.
- Whether delaying your period is safe and suitable for you.
2. Treatment
If it is suitable for you, we can supply a short course of prescription-only medication. We will explain exactly how and when to take it. Period delay treatment is not a form of contraception, and we will talk this through with you.
3. Safety and Follow-Up
If treatment is not appropriate for you, or we have any concerns about your health, we will explain why and recommend the best next step, such as speaking with your GP.
