You don’t always need a GP appointment. Our pharmacy team, including our full-time Independent Prescriber, can assess and treat a range of common, minor conditions on the spot through the NHS Wales Common Ailments Service.
How the Common Ailments Service Works
We can help with many everyday conditions, for example sore throats, earache, eye infections, hay fever, skin complaints and more. Ask our team if we can help with your symptoms.
1. Speak to Us
Walk in, call us, or get in touch through our contact form. There is no need to book a GP appointment first.
2. Private Consultation
We will assess your symptoms and medical history in our consultation room.
3. Advice and Treatment
If treatment is needed and it is safe for you, we can provide advice and medicines, and where appropriate supply treatment directly. If your condition needs further investigation, we will refer you to your GP or another NHS service.
